Sam Howell is getting some more preseason buzz, this time from a scout fantasy analyst Matthew Berry trusts. According to the scout, if “Sam Howell gets on the field, he ain’t coming off.” (Clay on Twitter)
Howell showed some promise in his single start in 2022 against Dallas and the hype train has been growing all off-season. He’s been indorsed by both scouts and his receivers, a good start. Now he just needs to coaches to give him the starting job. If Howell does get the job, he’s an interesting add for fantasy managers as he has underrated dual-threat ability that can raise his floor and make him a stream worthy QB when bye weeks hit.
