Denzel Mims traded to Detroit Wednesday

The Detroit Lions have acquired Denzel Mims from the New York Jets. Detroit will send a conditional sixth-round pick in exchange for a seventh-round pick in 2025. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Mims was set to be waived or traded after being excused from practice by the team Wednesday. With Jameson Williams suspended to begin the season, Mims should have plenty of opportunities to see the field early on. Mims did not produce much during his three seasons with the Jets, but also was not given much of an opportunity after his rookie campaign. Fantasy managers will want to see how he lines up in camp as he could be worth a late round flier.
