Adrian Martinez waived by Lions

According to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, UDFA QB Adrian Martinez is being waived by the Detroit Lions, who will hold just two QBs on their active roster. (Dave Birkett on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Martinez will be subjected to the waiver wire and can sign with the Lions' practice squad if he clears it. The former Nebraska and Kansas State QB was a dual threat in college, rushing for at least 500 yards every season of his career. The Lions could be interested in bringing him back, but with QB Teddy Bridgewater as the backup, Hendon Hooker on the NFI list and Nate Sudfeld on IR, the Lions are holding onto a lot of QBs.
