Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins is feared to have suffered a torn Achilles in Sunday's game against the Houston Texans, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. Dobbins is having an MRI to confirm. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Dobbins returned from a devastating knee injury in 2022, did not look like his old self initially, but then finished the season strong. The Ravens did not invest any significant resources to the RB position this offseason, leading many to believe Dobbins was fully healthy and ready for a bounce-back season in Todd Monken's new-look offense in Baltimore. Now, it looks like Dobbins will be rehabbing another severe injury -- one many players struggle to ever fully recover from -- while simultaneously becoming a free agent. With Dobbins out, the Ravens are likely to lean on RBs Gus Edwards and Justice Hill but could look outside the organization for a RB such as Kareem Hunt, Leonard Fournette, or even Colts RB Jonathan Taylor.
