Tony Jones Jr. was elevated to the Saints active roster ahead of the team's Monday Night road battle in Carolina, according to the team's Twitter. (New Orleans Saints on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Jones being activated is a sign that rookie RB Kendre Miller, who is questionable with a hamstring injury, may not be ready to play. With Alvin Kamara still suspended, it appears the Saints will give a heavy dosage of work to Jamaal Williams once again in Week 2. Fantasy managers relying on Williams will have to hope he is more efficient than in Week 1, when he averaged a mere 2.5 yards per carry.
