Saquon Barkley ruled out for Week 3 against the 49ers

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, RB Saquon Barkley has been ruled out by the New York Giants for Thursday Night Football. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This isn’t a surprise as Barkley is dealing with an ankle sprain on a short week. His status going forward is unclear, and there’s a chance he misses multiple weeks depending on the severity of the sprain. RB Matt Breida operated as the top back after his injury, but rookie RB Eric Gray was also inactive in Week 2 and could factor in Week 3. As well, Gary Brightwell could find his way on the field too.
