Baltimore Ravens D/ST limits beat up Bengals in Week 11

by Nate Miller | Ravens Correspondent | Fri, Nov 17th 10:13am EST

The Ravens' defense turned in a solid effort Thursday night, holding the Bengals to 272 yards of total offense while picking up five sacks in a 34-20 victory.

Fantasy Impact:

The Ravens did not force a turnover in Thursday's game, but their defense shut down a beat-up Bengals offense for the most part. WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) did not play at all and QB Joe Burrow (wrist) was knocked out of the game late in the second quarter. The final score appears a bit closer than the game actually was, as backup Bengals' QB Jake Browning found Ja'Marr Chase for a garbage-time TD with just over a minute remaining on the clock. Despite a recent down game in Week 10's loss to the Browns, the Ravens' defense reasserted itself as presently one of the best in the biz. The Baltimore unit is surrendering only 16.1 points (3rd NFL) while averaging a league-best 4.0 sacks per game.
