Former NFL safety Tony Jefferson II is coming out of retirement ahead of the 2024 season and plans to play. (Jordan Schultz on Twitter)

Jefferson spent 2024 as a scouting intern with the Baltimore Ravens after nine seasons in the NFL. The former undrafted free agent has spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, Ravens, San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants, totaling 492 tackles, 24 pass deflections and 20 QB hits. Jefferson could serve as a backup safety right away with starter experience (67 starts in 113 games).
