Ashton Jeanty won't participate in drills at NFL Combine

Boise State RB and 2025 NFL Draft prospect Ashton Jeanty will not participate in on-field drills at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. He will only participate in medical evaluations and team interviews, leaving the drills for his pro day. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

This has been a common trend for athletes who are expected to go in the first round, especially those who expect to go early. With the NFL Combine often receiving pushback for the environment not being the most conducive to athletes' success due to the long and busy schedule, players will sometimes opt for the more controlled environment of a pro day. Jeanty is likely a lock to be a Round 1 pick, the question is just how early. Boise State's Pro Day will likely come sometime in mid/late March.
