Kelce texted Pat McAfee the news. McAfee said the “source” he reached out to regarding Kelce’s future replied to his text saying, “I’m coming back for sure. I’m gonna try and get to the best shape I’ve been this offseason and get back to the mountaintop.” It was a down season for Kelce last year, hauling in 97 passes for 823 yards and three touchdown. His best days are likely behind him, but he'll still be a reliable target for Patrick Mahomes in the middle of the field.
