Sam Darnold lands three-year deal with Seattle

Quarterback Sam Darnold and the Seattle Seahawks are finalizing a deal to land the veteran QB for three years for "nearly $100 million." (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Darnold comes in to replace Geno Smith, who had one year left on his deal when he was traded to Las Vegas. In a similar mold, the Seahawks are banking on a one-year breakout again, but Darnold is much younger (27) and is coming off of a 35-TD season with 4,319 yards. While it remains to be seen what else Seattle does this offseason, the one-time Pro Bowler Darnold will play alongside WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba and RBs Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet in 2025 and beyond.
