Geno Smith could sign extension with Raiders 'soon'

Raiders GM John Spytek said that he's confident something will get done with Geno Smith soon regarding an extension. (Tashan Reed on Twitter)

Spytek wasn't willing to get into details. The talks have been quiet since Smith was traded to Las Vegas. Pete Carroll also mentioned to reporters that the two sides are working on an extension. This remains a wait-and-see situation.
