Kansas City Chiefs star defensive back Trent McDuffie is set to have his fifth-year option exercised by the team as he enters Year 4 with K.C. (Jeremy Fowler on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
McDuffie has been among the most impactful cornerbacks in the NFL in recent seasons, including posting a third-best PFF grade of 83.1 while having top-20 scores in coverage and run defense. In 2023, he played primarily in the slot but transitioned to a more traditional outside role in 2024. The All-Pro defender is a versatile weapon for the Chiefs and has been crucial in the postseason, so keeping him around should be a top priority for Kansas City.
