Justin Fields carted to locker room with apparent leg injury Thursday

UPDATE: Jets HC Aaron Glenn says Fields suffered a toe injury, but the severity is not known at this time. Jets QB Justin Fields was carted to the locker room after sustaining an injury to his right foot/leg, according to Ralph Vacchiano of FOX Sports. Fields pulled up during a play in team drills and left the field with what Vacchiano described as a "significant" limp before eventually leaving on the cart. (Ralph Vacciano on X)

Fantasy Impact:

While Fields has been up and down as a passer through the first four seasons of his NFL career, he's always been valuable in fantasy because of his elite rushing upside. For that reason, many fantasy managers and analysts are excited about his potential with the Jets, where he is the clear QB1 in 2025 after starting just six games for the Steelers in 2024. If Fields has to miss any time, the other QBs on New York's roster are Tyrod Taylor, Adrian Martinez, and Brady Cook, though it's too early to speculate about the severity of Fields's injury. Jets HC Aaron Glenn is scheduled to speak with the media after practice.
