Chris Rodriguez Jr. will have short-yardage role

Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said that running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. is expected to have the goal-line/short-yardage role in place of Brian Robinson Jr. (Ben Standig on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
With Robinson expected to be off the team after being excused from games and practices, an opportunity opens up in Washington. Rodriguez has shown flashes in a rotation for D.C., and Robinson has 13 rushing touchdowns over the last two seasons. The drumbeat for Bill Croskey-Merritt has been loud, and he is expected to be a factor in the team's run game, but Rodriguez could mix in as well alongside Austin Ekeler and even Jeremy McNichols.
