San Francisco 49ers superstar edge rusher Nick Bosa suffered a season-ending ACL tear in Week 3 despite optimism that he avoided a major injury. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Bosa is one of the best pass rushers in the NFL, and his absence is an immediate speed bump for the 49ers' front seven. San Francisco did make significant investments into their defensive line group this offseason, including with rookies and veteran Bryce Huff, so they may be able to sustain in his absence. However, Bosa has now torn the same ACL twice, adding concern for his long-term outlook.
