Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers, who is dealing with a knee injury, is "planning on playing," says head coach Pete Carroll, who said he was rested in order to play. Bowers said he was unable to talk about the specifics of his injury, though he admitted he was not moving "to the best of [his] abilities right now." (Paul Gutierrez on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Raiders play the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5 and have two more games before their bye week. Bowers has not been playing at the same level as he showed last season, and his injury could easily be to blame. At some point, the Raiders may need to play it easy with Bowers, but if not, the bye week could be the best time for him to get back into shape. He is still the half-PPR TE11 with 8.5 points per game.
