Brock Bowers
TE - Las Vegas Raiders - IR
Availability
Brock Bowers (knee) has been placed on IR.
Fantasy Impact
This move by the Raiders ends the season a couple of weeks early for Bowers. The Pro-Bowl TE has dealt with a knee issue pretty much all season long, and he will now focus on recovery and getting ready for next season. Bowers averaged over five receptions and 56.7 yards per game while hauling in seven touchdown passes across 12 games in year two of his career. Michael Mayer moves to the top TE spot for the Raiders, with Ian Thomas likely to see a few more snaps as well.
Brock Bowers caught five passes for 33 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-21 loss to the Houston Texans.
Fantasy Impact
Bowers finished with an underwhelming 33 yards on Sunday, but he was able to make up for that by racking up five total catches, one of which went for a touchdown against the Texans. He hasn't been particularly good recently but will continue to have high week-to-week upside over the last couple games of the season.
Brock Bowers caught 6-of-8 targets for 28 yards in the Raiders 31-0 loss to the Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
Bowers led the team in targets, receptions, and receiving yardage in the loss. His 28 receiving yards are his lowest total of the season as the Raiders' passing attack struggled to get anything going Sunday. Bowers will look to bounce back against the Texans in Week 16.
Brock Bowers caught four of five targets for 46 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders' 24-17 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Bowers had a nice game, all things considered. He's had three touchdowns in his last two games and at least 55 yards and or a touchdown in each of his last four games. As the best weapon on the Raiders' offense, expect him to continue to get a heavy dose of targets.
Brock Bowers caught 4-of-4 targets for 63 yards and two touchdowns in the Raiders 31-14 loss to the Chargers.
Fantasy Impact
Bowers made an incredible grab on his six-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter. Bowers remains the top pass catching option in the Raiders' offense and will likely see a bevy of targets against a stout Broncos' defense in Week 14.
