The Falcons have placed QB Michael Penix Jr. on injured reserve with a bone bruise and a knee sprain. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Penix is also reportedly dealing with damage to his ACL, although the severity is unknown right now. Kirk Cousins is set to quarterback the Flacons for the remainder of the season, with Penix out at least the next four games and likely the rest of the season. Penix would end his second season in the NFL with 1,982 passing yards, nine touchdowns, and three interceptions in nine games.
