Chris Godwin posts season-best numbers in loss

Chris Godwin delivered his most productive outing of the season during Sunday's 20-17 loss to Miami, catching seven of his eight targets for 108 yards and a touchdown. The veteran wideout tied teammate Jalen McMillan for the team lead in receptions, highlighted by a five-yard scoring grab to open the game in the first quarter.
Fantasy Impact:
Godwin gained more than half of his yardage on a clutch 59-yard catch-and-run just before the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter. Having now recorded at least five catches in three of his last four contests, he will look to help the Buccaneers secure the NFC South title and a playoff berth in a decisive Week 18 matchup against the Panthers.
