Jake Bates kicks game-winning field goal in Week 18

Jake Bates kicked a 42-yard field goal with no time left on the clock to lift the Lions to a 19-16 win over the Bears in their final game of the regular season. Bates booted four field goals on the day and added an extra point.

Bates went 4-for-5 on field goal attempts, with his four field goals tying a career-high. Bates was successful from 34, 30, 25, and 42 yards, and his lone miss came from 53 yards out to close the first half. Bates finished his second season going 27-of-34 on field goal attempts and 54-of-56 on extra points.
