After 19 seasons at the helm of the Pittsburgh Steelers, head coach Mike Tomlin is stepping down as the Steel City’s head man. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Tomlin was the longest-tenured active head coach in the NFL for one of the steadiest organizations in the league. The Steelers have had just three coaches since 1969, becoming a pillar of institutional stability. Tomlin never had a losing record as a head coach. However, after failing to win a playoff game since 2016, the Super Bowl champion head coach has informed the organization that he will step down, which will heavily impact Pittsburgh’s offseason plans.
