Devin Lloyd unlikely to re-sign with Jaguars

Devin Lloyd remains on track for free agency in March after the Jacksonville Jaguars declined his fifth-year option last spring. It is increasingly likely that Lloyd will take a big-ticket contract elsewhere as a franchise tag would mean Lloyd would cost roughly $28.2 million in 2026. (Pro Football Rumors on X)
Fantasy Impact:
The top of the linebacker market is currently at $21 million so a franchise tag would be a major surprise. It's more likely that a long-term deal would be in the cards for the four-year veteran. Despite seeing a decrease in his defensive snap share, Lloyd earned Second Team All-Pro honors in 2025 after recording 81 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, five interceptions, and seven passes broken up in 15 games with the Jaguars.
