Akers has been up-and-down from Seattle's practice squad during the Seahawks' postseason run. With Zach Charbonnet out for the remainder of the year, Akers was elevated again despite not having received a carry with the Seahawks in three regular season games or in the NFC Championship. Akers is expected to maintain his "if needed" role for Super Bowl LX.
