Cam Akers wasn't expected to return last year in time for the playoffs, but he pulled it off. He saw snap shares from 39% to as high as 81%. While he racked up volume in the process with 18.7 touches per game, his efficiency numbers were middling at best. His 2.31 yards after contact per attempt was a far cry from the 2.96 he rattled off in his rookie season (per PFF). With a full offseason to hopefully recoup any lost juice and return to his first-year form, Akers has the upside to be a workhorse in one of the best offenses in the NFL.

Cam Akers quiet in Super Bowl win
Rams running back Cam Akers had 13 carries for 21 yards and no touchdowns in the teams 23-20 Super Bowl win.
While Akers by far saw the most carries on the team, he failed to do much with them. He averaged a dismal 1.6 YPC, and the Bengals front seven was dominating the Rams offensive line in the run game from start to finish. He added three catches for 14 yards through the air, but his inefficiency didn't stop them from winning the big game. Considering how major of an injury he had, dynasty managers should be encouraged to see him on the field and getting the majority workload for the Rams.
