Trey Hendrickson is not expected to return to the Cincinnati Bengals next season and the Indianapolis Colts have emerged as a heavy favorite to land the All-Pro defensive lineman. A tag-and-trade scenario is also in play according to multiple reports. (Cameron Wolfe on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Hendrickson, 31, suffered through an injury-plagued 2025 season as he was limited to just seven starts before being placed on injured reserve. In those seven starts, Hendrickson still managed 16 tackles, four sacks, three tackles for a loss, and eight quarterback hits. Hendrickson entered the year having made four consecutive Pro Bowls and was a First Team All-Pro selection in 2024 after leading the league with 17.5 sacks. In his nine-year career with the Saints and Bengals, Hendrickson has 81 career sacks and 74 tackles for a loss. He would be a massive addition for the Colts - or for any other team that jumps into the fray during free agency.
