A'Shawn Robinson has been granted permission by the Carolina Panthers to seek a trade. The veteran defensive lineman has been rumored to be released by the Panthers this offseason. (Pro Football Rumors on X)
Fantasy Impact:
One year remains on Robinson's three-year deal he signed with the Panthers in 2024. He is scheduled to carry a cap hit of $12.56 million, although a release by Carolina would only cost a dead money charge of just over $2 million. The soon-to-be 31-year-old has totaled 145 tackles and eight sacks in 33 games over two seasons with Carolina. It was the best two-year stretch of his 10-year career and he would be a solid addition for a team looking for a veteran presence at defensive tackle.
