Tim Settle Jr. and the Washington Commanders have agreed on a three-year deal worth $24 million. The contract could be worth as much as $25.5 million with incentives. (Mike Garafalo on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Settle returns to where his career began as he was drafted in the fifth round by Washington in the 2018 NFL Draft. The defensive lineman spent his first four seasons with Washington and recorded 54 tackles and seven sacks. Settle then spent two years in Buffalo and finally spent the last two seasons with Houston. All told, he has appeared in 124 career NFL games with 133 tackles and 15 sacks. Settle started 23 of his 29 games with the Texans after starting just six games in his first six seasons. It remains to be seen if he will be a starter in Washington but, at the very least, he'll be a big part of the defensive line rotation with the Commanders.
