Sam Williams remains with Cowboys on one-year deal

Defensive end Sam Williams is remaining with the Dallas Cowboys as the two sides agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal on Monday night. (Jordan Schultz on X)
Fantasy Impact:
A former second round pick by Dallas in the 2022 NFL Draft, Williams has played three seasons with the Cowboys. He missed the entire 2024 campaign with an ACL injury during training camp, but returned last season and recorded a career-best 37 tackles, including seven tackles for a loss, while playing all 17 games. In his three years, Williams has totaled 85 tackles, 22 tackles for a loss, and 9.5 sacks. He played a career-best 43% of defensive snaps last season and should see a similar workload in 2026.
