Fantasy Impact:
The former second overall pick by the Jets in the 2021 NFL Draft, Wilson has struggled to live up to the billing in his four years in the league. The 26-year-old appeared in just four games for the Dolphins last season, completing 6-of-11 passes for 32 yards. In 2024, Wilson spent the year in Denver, but was the third string quarterback and did not appear in any games. He spent his first three seasons with the Jets, completing 57.0% of his passes for 6,325 yards with 23 touchdowns and 25 interceptions. He also absorbed a whopping 113 sacks in his 34 games in New York. Wilson becomes the third quarterback on the Saints' roster with NFL experience and he will likely battle Spencer Rattler for the backup job during camp. Tyler Shough will enter the 2026 campaign as the Saints' starter.
