The New England Patriots have selected OL Caleb Lomu with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact:
The Patriots traded up in the first round to select Lomu with the 28th overall pick. Drafted out of Utah, Lomu is an impressive athlete with the explosiveness, speed, awareness, and technique to execute a variety of assignments in the run game. He is also quick enough to protect the edge against speed in the passing game. He could challenge for a starting role right away in 2026, potentially at left tackle, as the Patriots' offensive line was exploited against the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX.
