Dee Winters has been traded from the San Francisco 49ers to the Dallas Cowboys on the second night of the 2026 NFL Draft. Dallas' fifth-round pick (152nd overall) heads to San Francisco. (Adam Schefter on X)

Winters enjoyed a breakout season for the 49ers last year, totaling 101 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, and an interception while starting all 17 games. He had totaled 54 tackles with San Francisco in his first two seasons combined. Winters should be a big part of the linebacker corps in Dallas heading into his fourth NFL season.
