Makai Lemon is dealing with a hamstring injury and will not practice on Tuesday. The injury is not expected to be a long term issue, but the team will not rush the rookie back. (Dave Zangaro on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Teammate DeVonta Smith is in the same boat as Lemon, as both wideouts are dealing with hamstring injuries with the same prognosis. It’s especially bad timing for Lemon, who as a rookie, needs all the reps he can get to get up to full speed before the start of the season. If he can return by mid-August, he should still have a few weeks of practice to put under his belt with adequate ramp up time. Fantasy managers will need to monitor the rookie’s status.
