George Kittle (Achilles) is still considered to have a real chance to play in San Francisco's season opener after another medical evaluation on Wednesday. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Kittle recently underwent an evaluation on the recovery of his Achilles, and it is being reported that the results were encouraging and that he has a real chance to be ready to play in time for Week 1. It remains unlikely that he will be at full strength for the start of the season, but if he's at least on the field, fantasy managers might not have to wait more than a few weeks before he's back to form from a fantasy perspective.
