Mississippi State WR De'Runnya Wilson doesn't project as No. 1 WR

by Matt Barbato | Sun, Feb 21st 1:19pm EST

Former Mississippi State wide receiver De'Runnya Wilson opted to forgo his senior season after hauling in 60 passes for 918 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2015. Wilson features prototypical size for an NFL wideout at 6-foot-4, 215 pounds. He has good hands and can be a reliable red zone option in the NFL, but there are questions as to whether Wilson will ultimately develop into a No. 1 receiver. Wilson doesn't possess great speed and does not do much after the catch. (CBS Sports)

Fantasy Impact:

Wilson's upside as a fantasy wide receiver is tough to determine. The one area Wilson could be immensely valuable in is the touchdown department as he has the traits and talent to become a go-to guy inside the 20. Wilson should be a Day Two selection who could benefit a team looking for another weapon on the outside.
