According to Ted Kulfan of The Detroit News, Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew (torn ACL) has said he will be ready for the start of training camp. (The Detroit News)
Pettigrew suffered the torn ACL - the second of his career - on December 14th, which puts his recovery timetable on pace for training camp. Even if he does come back fully healthy, his receiving skills have all but evaporated over the last few years and he will be primarily used as a blocking tight end to compliment receiving tight end Eric Ebron. He is well off the fantasy radar.
