Week 14 Outlook

The Detriot Lions place WR Corey Fuller, TE Brandon Pettigrew, and T Corey Robinson on the active/PUP list to begin training camp
Fantasy Impact
Pettigrew wasn't a major factor in fantasy circles as is. Now that he is starting training camp on the PUP list you can ignore him for now.
According to Ted Kulfan of The Detroit News, Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew (torn ACL) has said he will be ready for the start of training camp.
Fantasy Impact
Pettigrew suffered the torn ACL - the second of his career - on December 14th, which puts his recovery timetable on pace for training camp. Even if he does come back fully healthy, his receiving skills have all but evaporated over the last few years and he will be primarily used as a blocking tight end to compliment receiving tight end Eric Ebron. He is well off the fantasy radar.
Jim Caldwell announced that tight end Brandon Pettigrew tore his ACL and will be out for the rest of the season.
Fantasy Impact
Pettigrew has been injury prone in his NFL career to this point, with his latest ACL tear being the third he's suffered during his tenure. Although Pettigrew is a plodder who mainly blocks, the fantasy angle with this injury is that Eric Ebron should get a big boost in production. He had a few solid games when Pettigrew was out earlier this season, and with matchups against the leaky Saints and 49ers on deck, could be a solid tight end to pick up and use in your fantasy playoff matchups.
Pettigrew had a kneecap issue flare up and will be inactive today.
Fantasy Impact
He's more a blocking TE, not really a fantasy asset.
After sitting out the first four weeks of the season with a hamstring injury, seventh-year Detroit Lions TE Brandon Pettigrew caught three balls for 29 yards in his season debut on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
With the quarterback situation being a struggle on Sunday to say the least with four INT's combined between Matthew Stafford and Dan Orlovsky, it was hard for Pettigrew to get settled in. With that being said, he's the No. 1 TE with Tim Wright pacing him. Wright had three receptions for 12 yards against Arizona. Pettigrew has a plus matchup against a Bears' defense that is thin at ILB with Shea McCellin (leg) likely out.
