The Pittsburgh Steelers have released K Shaun Suisham (ACL) on Friday with a failed physical designation following a setback during his recovery from a torn ACL. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Shaun Suisham was released by the Steelers on Friday after five seasons with the club. Suisham suffered a torn ACL prior to the start of the 2015 regular season and missed the entire campaign as a result of the ailment. Suisham is a productive NFL kicker who can catch on with another organization at some point in 2016 if he makes a full recovery.
