C.J. Prosise is missing a 'ton' in camp

by Anthony Cervino | Wed, Aug 10th 8:59am EDT

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is indicating that RB C.J. Prosise (hamstring) "has missed a ton" of work in training camp as he remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. Carroll is also suggesting that Prosise has a "chance" to appear in the second preseason contest against the Minnesota Vikings. (Liz Mathews on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Prosise's absence in training camp is beginning to set the rookie back. Prosise is projected to be the No. 2 rusher behind Thomas Rawls, but his lingering ailment opens the door for Christine Michael and Alex Collins to carve out their own roles in the offense as they are seeing extended playing time while Rawls and Prosise were sitting out. Rawls was activated off of the PUP list and is being eased back into football activities, but there is no clear-cut timetable for Prosise's return. Monitor this situation throughout the preseason until Rawls' primary handcuff is fully determined.
