James Jones took the field as a San Diego Charger for the first time in a preseason Week 1 loss to the Tennessee Titans. He was not running with the starters and caught 3-of-6 targets for 27 total yards.
While he is currently buried in the opening depth chart for the Bolts, Jones could actually see a pretty sizable workload if he can lock down the starting slot-receiver role. The Chargers will continue to pass early and often, so if he starts in three-wide sets he will see enough targets to keep himself fantasy relevant.
