Scott Tolzien will have to compete for the Colts’ backup QB position

Stephen Holder of the Indy Star reports that Indianapolis Colts’ backup QB Scott Tolzien may have some competition for the position with QB Stephen Morris. When Tolzein was initially signed, it was assumed that Tolzein would be the backup, however, Morris has been playing pretty well during the offseason and may give Tolzein a run for the job. Fantasy Impact:
If everything goes according to plan in Indianapolis, this battle won’t even matter. Colts’ starting QB Andrew Luck, when healthy, is one the most talented QBs in the NFL. However, in the NFL things don’t always go according to plan. Last year, Luck missed nine games with numerous injuries in what was easily the worst season of his young career. The Colt’s ended up having to play five QBs over the course of a disappointing season where they failed to make the playoffs for the first time since Luck’s been with the team. As meaningless as this battle may seem, the Colts' may have to rely on one of these players at some point during the season.
