Donte Whitner signs with Redskins

Donte Whitner signs a one-year deal with the Redskins to fill-in for injured S David Bruton who went on I.R. for the next eight weeks with a concussion. Whitner, who was cut by the Browns in April, provides an upgrade in stopping the run, which the Redskins desperately need. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
