Sam Shields placed on injured reserve

The Green Bay Packers have placed CB Sam Shields (concussion) on the injured reserve list. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Shields suffered his fifth career concussion this year but it appears that he could return to the field in eight weeks per reports. The Packers are decimated at the cornerback position and will need their reserves to step up while Shields and Damarious Randall are on the mend.
