Bennie Fowler catches one pass Week 4

Giants wide receiver Bennie Fowler caught one of his two targets for just three yards in Sunday's win over Washington.

Fantasy Impact

Fowler has caught just two passes over the last two weeks, and his role will be further reduced with the return of wide receiver Golden Tate next week.

Bennie Fowler catches one pass Sunday

Giants wide receiver Bennie Fowler caught just one pass for five yards in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact

With Sterling Shepard back in the lineup on Sunday and Daniel Jones taking over at quarterback, Fowler was an afterthought in the Giants offense.

Bennie Fowler leads Giants in receiving Sunday

Giants wide receiver Bennie Fowler caught five of his 10 targets for 51 yards and added 20 yards on one rushing attempt in Sunday's loss to the Bills.

Fantasy Impact

Despite only hauling in half of his targets, Fowler was New York's leading receiver on Sunday and took advantage of both Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate being out of the lineup. With the Giants likely getting Shepard back next week and Tate back in two more games, Fowler is unlikely to have a large role going forward.

Bennie Fowler starting for Giants in Week 16

With Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. missing another game on Sunday, fellow wideout Bennie Fowler still start at one of the outside wide receiver spots.

Fantasy Impact

The former Broncos reserve wide receiver is getting a chance to audition for another job this offseason, so his starting is more important to him than it is to fantasy owners. Still, for desperate owners in deeper leagues or DFS players looking for a cheap option, Fowler is starting for a team that will likely need to pass the ball to keep up with an explosive Colts offense.

Bennie Fowler signs with Bears

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting the Chicago Bears and former Denver Broncos WR Bennie Fowler have agreed to terms on a one-year deal.

Fantasy Impact

After three underwhelming seasons in Denver, Fowler will add depth to a Bears wide receiver corps that recently lost Cameron Meredith to the Saints. Coming off of a career year in 2017 -- he produced a meager 29-350-3 stat line while appearing in the full 16-game slate, Fowler will look to compete for a roster spot entering 2018. Barring a significant injury to the WRs slated ahead of him, I can't see Fowler creeping up past the WR4 spot, limiting his fantasy upside.
