WR - SF
Week 3 Outlook
Brandon Aiyuk brought in 5-of-8 targets for 70 yards while adding 31 yards and a score on the ground during the 49ers' 36-9 victory over the Giants' in Week 3.
Aiyuk was incredible as he was the featured early and often in this one. He led the 49ers' in targets, receptions and receiving yards while also rushing three times for 31 yards and a score. The talented rookie showed what he is capable of when given the opportunity, albeit it was against the Giants, but he should be plenty busy in the 49ers' Week 4 game against the Eagles on Sunday Night Football. If he is on the waiver wire in your league, he is worth an add.
Making his NFL debut, Brandon Aiyuk hauled in two of three targets for 21 yards during the 49ers' 31-13 victory over the Jets.
Aiyuk was put in a great opportunity to produce Sunday with George Kittle (knee) and Deebo Samuel (foot) missing the game due to injury, but was mostly held in check. It's clear, however, that the 49ers' value his abilities and he will be a big part of their game plan going forward so he is still a worthy bench stash if you can afford it. Aiyuk will look to take the next step during next weeks tilt against the Giants.
49ers rookie WR Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) is officially active for Week 2 against the Jets.
Aiyuk missed Week 1 as he was recovering from a hamstring injury he suffered in training camp. As expected, he’ll be ready to roll against the Jets in Week 2. With George Kittle and Deebo Samuel out, Aiyuk could very well lead the team in targets right out of the gate. Keep an eye on his snap count this week, but he’s certainly a bit of a risky play.
49ers rookie wideout Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 2 against the Jets.
It'll be the NFL debut for San Francisco's first-round pick. Aiyuk's upside in a Kyle Shannahan offense means he needs to be rostered in 12-team leagues. However, expectations should be tempered in his first career game.
WR Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) practiced in full on Thursday.
Aiyuk missed Week 1 against the Cardinals due to a hamstring injury. He logged a full practice on Thursday and is expected to make his NFL debut Week 2 against the Jets. The 2020 First Round pick could make an immediate impact with Deebo Samuel (foot) on the IR and George Kittle (knee) questionable to play. Aiyuk is currently 70th among all wideouts in the latest expert consensus rankings for Week 2.
