Lynch declined to say anything about the Aiyuk other than: “I’m personally, and we as an organization, are going to focus on the players who are here,” Lynch said. “We wish him well, we wish his family well.”

Brandon Aiyuk has had a warrant for his arrest issued in Northern California due to misdemeanor charge for speeding. This comes after an investigation into a video posted by Aiyuk showing him speeding near Levi Stadium.

It’s yet another feather in Aiyuk’s trouble making cap. Whether he comes under discipline by the NFL, and how, remains to be seen. Either way, this will hurt his stock even further; if any team was holding out interest in trading for him, that has likely taken a hit. He was already on the outs with the 49ers, he might have played himself, off the field that is, out of the league. That’s certainly an extreme stance, regardless, things aren’t looking any better for the talented but troubled receiver.

The news on Aiyuk as of late has been fairly quiet. It is possible he could be released by next week if he doesn't show up to the 49ers first organized team activities session on May 27th.

Lynch didn't rule out the possibility of Aiyuk being traded during the NFL Draft this week, but he also didn't completely rule it out. The 49ers don't have to be in a rush to make a move as they have until the start of September when they would have to start paying him. This will remain a situation to monitor to see if a deal can get done this week.
