Brandon Graham denies rumors of holding out

When Brandon Graham was absent from the Eagles' voluntary workouts last week, rumors started flying that he was upset with his current contract situation. On Tuesday, Graham returned back to the Eagles facility and denied all rumors of a possible contract dispute.

Fantasy Impact

Graham is coming off one of his best seasons in his career. Although he was criticized for only having 5.5 sacks, Graham finished with the second-most pressures and third-most knockdowns last season. With some big offseason additions on the D-line, there is less pressure on Graham, making him even more of a threat for quarterbacks. If he completes his rushes this season, his sack numbers could be huge.

Brandon Graham records best game of 2015

Brandon Graham had 7 tackles and recorded his first sack of the season on Sunday versus Washington. 6 out of the 7 tackles were solo tackles and to go along with his sack he also forced a fumble.

Fantasy Impact

Prior to Sunday's game Graham has been rather quiet for the Eagles with only 5 solo tackles through the teams first three games. Graham getting to the quarterback is a big step forward for the OLB and hopefully this is a sign of things to come for the rest of the season.

Brandon Graham said playing for Jim Washburn "was my low point"

“The low point was when Wash was here,” Graham said. “That was my low point.” After the Eagles cut Jason Babin then Graham was inserted in and instantly started to create plays on the field.

Fantasy Impact

After the Eagles released Trent Cole and followed that up with signing Graham to a four-year, $26 million deal, Graham became the instant starter at OLB. Graham is coming off his best season in 5 years with the Eagles collecting 31 solo tackles, 5.5 sacks and 4 forced fumbles. Graham's future going forward is definitely trending in the right direction.

Eagles ink Brandon Graham to a four-year deal

5 years ago the Eagles traded up in the draft to grab Brandon Graham. 5 years later that investment is now signed for another 4 years as the Eagles got the deal done before Graham hit the free agency market.

Fantasy Impact

As far as IDP aspects go this is a bad outcome for Graham's future as the Eagles have held him back in terms of putting up defensive statistics. Graham only 26 years old is in the prime of his career and is coming off a season that saw him record 5.5 sacks to go along with 4 forced fumbles despite sharing time with Trent Cole. It is possible that Graham becomes more of a full time player moving forward and can become a household name in the IDP community.

Brandon Graham a top 3-4 outside linebacker on the open market

Just like with Jeremy Maclin the Eagles elected to not use the Franchise Tag on Brandon Graham as well. Graham is reportedly seeking a deal worth more than $20 million in guarantees.

Fantasy Impact

Graham is coming off his best season as a pro recording 31 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 4 forced fumbles in 2014.
