Brevin Jordan
TE - Houston Texans - IR
Availability
The Houston Texans signed Brevin Jordan to a one-year extension.
Fantasy Impact
Jordan suffered a torn ACL back in Week 2 which sidelined him for the season. He was on a contract year, so he'll now be heading into his contract year next season with the Texans.
Brevin Jordan will miss the remainder of the 2024 NFL season after tearing his ACL.
Fantasy Impact
Jordan recently suffered a torn ACL and is going to miss the rest of the season. He has seen nearly 50% of offensive snaps in each of the team's first two games this year, so losing him is a tough blow for this offense as a whole. Houston will now look to rookie Cade Stover to step up and play an even bigger role on the offense moving forward.
Brevin Jordan caught 2-of-2 passes for 19 yards and a touchdown in the Texans’ 26-3 win over the Titans.
Fantasy Impact
Jordan found the end zone on a 12 yards pass in the second quarter, scoring just his second touchdown of the season. The 23-year-old has seen a limited target share this season and can safely be left off fantasy rosters.
Brevin Jordan caught all three of his targets for 35 yards during the Texans' 30-6 loss to the Jets in Week 14.
Fantasy Impact
Jordan led the team in catches and receiving yards during their frustrating loss to New York. His stretch of fantasy relevance could come to an end next week if Dalton Schultz (hamstring) returns and C.J. Stroud (concussion) can't suit up.
Brevin Jordan caught 3-of-4 targets for 64 yards in the Texans' 22-17 win over the Broncos on Sunday. He and Nico Collins were the only Texans to receive more than four targets and catch at least three passes against Denver.
Fantasy Impact
Jordan filled in nicely for starter Dalton Schultz who missed this game due to a hamstring injury. As long as Schultz is out, Jordan has fantasy appeal, especially if he can manage to stay C.J. Stroud's secondary target. How long he will be fantasy-relevant depends on the health of Schultz.
