The Titans have placed running back Brian Hill on injured reserve, ending his season.
Fantasy Impact
Hill signed with the Titans this offseason after spending the last three-plus years with the Falcons. Through three preseason contests, he logged 35 carries for 125 rushing yards while fetching an additional three catches for 31 receiving yards. Hill was competing with Darrynton Evans for the Titans' backup running back role. Now, it appears Evans has won the job. He'll likely be limited to usage during third-down and garbage-time situations.
Tennessee tail back Brian Hill accumulated 63 yards in his 14 carries during Saturday's preseason finale. He also caught two passes for 19 yards.
Fantasy Impact
While Hill has shown to be a capable depth piece for the Atlanta Falcons over the years, it's hard to picture him getting enough work in fantasy barring any injuries to players above him on the depth chart. Still, it was a solid showing for the Wyoming product heading into the regular season.
The Titans have signed free agent running back Brian Hill, according to an announcement from his agency. Terms haven't been announced, but it's presumably a one-year deal.

Hill will back up Derrick Henry in Tennessee, though Darrynton Evans might also compete for the No. 2 role. The former Falcons running back logged 100 carries for 465 yards and a score in 2020. He also caught 25 passes for another 199 yards. Hill is a deep stash option who will only have value if Henry goes down.
