Week 14 Outlook
Availability
Eagles receivers Bryce Treggs and Shelton Gipson, who were thrust into a more prominent role in the preseason finale game to show their stuff, both caught four passes, for 41 and 40 yards, respectively.
Fantasy Impact
Both players played better than receiver Marcus Johnson, which makes a tough call for the Eagles. They could keep 6 receivers, which would bode well for Gipson, or they could try to sneak the 5th round rookie onto their practice squad. Both have minimal dynasty value, and almost no redraft value.
Receiver Bryce Treggs was fairly quiet in the game against the Dolphins, catching just one pass for nine yards. He had one catch called back on a penalty.
Fantasy Impact
Treggs has been battling, and winning against, fellow receivers Greg Ward and Marcus Johnson for the Eagles' 5th WR spot, although none of them should have any redraft value, or much dynasty value.
Second-year veteran Bryce Treggs lead the Eagles in receiving on Thursday night, catching seven passes for 91 yards, including 38 yard over-the-shoulder, drop in the bucket type catch from QB Matt McGloin.
Fantasy Impact
Treggs has been battling Mack Hollins for the fifth receiver spot, but continued strong play like this might force the Eagles to keep both players on the roster come cutting time. He still shouldn't be on any redraft rankings and his worth in dynasty leagues is still debatable at best.
Bryce Treggs, who started in place of the benched and inactive Nelson Agholor, was only able to catch one pass for 11 yards against the Packers.
Fantasy Impact
Treggs looked like he had some explosiveness, but the Eagles couldn't sustain drives and the Eagles couldn't get off the field on defense. Treggs, as well as fellow receiver Paul Turner, could eventually be good role players, but when asked to carry this much offensive load, they're set up for failure.
Following the release of WR Josh Huff last week, Eagles' coach Doug Peterson has said that WR Bryce Treggs would be receiving more work in the offense.
Fantasy Impact
Huff wasn't terribly involved to begin with, but Treggs at least brings a different skill set. His fantasy impact, in redrafts, is minimal at best. In dynasty leagues, he's an end-of-the-roster stash if you're out of the playoffs and moving on from an older player.
