Titans QB Cam Ward said he expects a "explosive year" from rookie WR Carnell Tate.
Fantasy Impact
Tate was the No. 4 overall selection by the Titans this year. He projects to step into an immediate major role for Ward and the Titans passing offense. He'll be a player to monitor heading into training camp.
The Tennessee Titans have selected WR Carnell Tate with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact
The first big surprise of the draft belongs to the Titans as they take Tate with the fourth overall pick. A 6-2, 192-pound receiver from Ohio State, Tate is an exciting pick for the franchise and gives second-year QB Cam Ward another playmaker with eventual WR1 status. He has good speed, hands, and size, and the Titans continue to load up on playmakers in an attempt to make Ward successful. He should have an opportunity to start for the Titans from day one.
The Saints are hosting Ohio State WR Carnell Tate for a visit this week.
Fantasy Impact
Tate remains the favorite to be the first wide receiver off the board in this month's draft and New Orleans could be looking to add more weapons for Tyler Shough. Tate caught 51 passes for 875 yards and nine touchdowns for the Buckeyes last season. That also included the best catch rate (77.3%) among the top receivers in this class.
